Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026. This policy explains what data AIDubWorld collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This Privacy Policy applies to AIDubWorld's website, account area, and related services (the “Service”). It explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few ways:
- Account information: your email address, the plan you bought, and your access dates. We sign you in with one-time email links, so we never store a password.
- Billing information: processed by Stripe on our behalf; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Customer Content: the video, audio, transcripts, translations, and voice samples you upload to be dubbed.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, minutes processed, and similar diagnostic information.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, and device identifiers, collected automatically.
- Cookies: as described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide transcription, translation, voice cloning, lip-sync, and export services;
- Process one-time payments, manage your access period and minute allocations, and send access-expiry reminders;
- Respond to support requests and send service-related communications;
- Monitor, secure, and improve the reliability and quality of the Service;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR (and UK GDPR):
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to create your account, process your purchase, provide dubbing, and send access-expiry reminders.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and, for voice data that may be biometric, Art. 9(2)(a)): to create and use cloned voice models. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing done before withdrawal.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): to keep payment and tax records and respond to lawful requests.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep evidence of voice-cloning consent in case of a dispute.
4. Voice & Biometric Data
Cloned voice models are generated from audio you provide and may be treated as biometric or special-category data under certain laws. We process voice data solely to generate the dubs you request, we do not use it to train models shared across other customers, and we keep each customer's voice models logically isolated from other accounts. You can ask us to delete a cloned voice model at any time at privacy@aidubworld.com, which removes it from active use; residual copies are purged from backups on our standard backup rotation schedule.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with: the sub-processors listed below (bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements); law enforcement or regulators when required by law; and a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy continuing to apply to your data.
6. Sub-processors
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Website hosting, database, transactional email, security, and cookieless web analytics | United States / global network |
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing and fraud prevention | United States |
| ElevenLabs Inc. | Transcription, translation, voice cloning, and speech synthesis for the dubs you request | United States |
7. Data Retention
We retain account and Customer Content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data, including cloned voice models, at any time by contacting us.
8. Data Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and monitoring to protect your data, as described in more detail on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
AIDubWorld may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect data transferred internationally.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, voice cloning). To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@aidubworld.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
11. Right to Complain
If you believe we have processed your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live, work, or where the issue occurred. In the EU, you can find your authority on the European Data Protection Board website; in the UK, it is the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first at privacy@aidubworld.com.
12. Children's Privacy
AIDubWorld is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
